# Comment Plugger bug?

 * Hi all,
    I’m experiencing a strange problem with the “Comment Plugger” plugin
   by MTDewVirus, which is that it doesnt always correctly list the latest commenter.
   For example, if there are 8 commenters, it might display #6 as the “latest comment
   by”, and the “latest commenter” listed on the homepage is not actually the latest
   commenter once you click through to the individual post page. The bug doesnt 
   appear to be consistent or predictable, and for the most part its not happening,
   but it is popping up enough to be a problem.
 * Any help enormously appreciated. Has anyone else seen this? I’ve tried contacting
   the plugin developer directly but I’m sure he has enough such requests on his
   plate, and hasnt responded.

 * I would try harder. Plugins can do anything they like. The only person who really
   knows a plugin is often the author.

 * Good point Otto. Unfortunately all I can do is send emails, and if they choose
   not to respond thats their prerogative. Given that they develop these plugins
   for free I dont feel I have the right to harass them with too many emails either…
