Comment Reply with comment number reference

Hi

I have a comments driven website : www.schoolboyrugby.co.za

Each post normally contains sequentially numbered comments starting with comment number 1.

Users generally reply to the comments of other users.

The website makes use of the SB @reply comment plugin.

I was hoping someone could please help me to improve the comment section slightly by providing an indication on how to add the comment number being referred to in the reply.

I have seen what I’m looking for in this website: www.sharksworld.co.za

Here the reply is basically starts as @{username of commenter being replied to} (comment number X {where X is the comment number of the commenter being replied to}

I would like the latest comments to appear at the bottom and therefore do not want to use threaded comments or disqus.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
