Also, for some weird reason, I checked my WordPress.com MOBILE app settings and I could see that Allow Comments was turned off in Jetpack. I tried turning it on but it wouldn’t let me. However, the Allow for Commments in Jetpack are definitely turned on (like I said in the first post) when I’m using WordPress on desktop.
Dunno if this information helps; I thought I’d just put it out there.

Hi there,
My comments section/box underneath each post is not appearing. It was once appearing after changing some settings, but now it’s gone. I’ve made sure that I’ve ticked Screen Options > Discussion (and I’ve also ticked Screen Options > Comments) for each post and I’ve also ticked Allow Comments and Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. I also made sure that I’ve ticked “Let readers use WordPress.com, Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ accounts to comment” under Discussion settings in Jetpack. I’ve also changed my theme to Twenty Seventeen from Blog Way theme, just in case it was my theme’s fault, but no comment box appeared EVEN UNDER A NEW THEME. I’ve also downloaded Disqus (maybe a plugin might help) but it’s not entirely working (I don’t know whether it’s Disqus fault or my page) BUT the bottomline is I just want a comments section, whether it be Disqus or not.
Also, I read a lot of discussion about ‘comment box not appearing’ in ww.wp.xz.cn forums and I’ve followed all instructions, but simply to no avail as of yet. Can anyone help me, please?
Any ideas to test or reset this thing?
