However, it has a requirement for it to start with “[https://”](https://”); or “[http://”](http://”);, which means that if I introduce “buildthegiant.com” it won’t accept it unless I make it begin with “[https://”](https://”);. To write comments, a requirement is to type in “Name” and “Email”, and then I give them the option to type in their “Website”, so there are 4 fields in the comment section. Name, email, website, and the actual comment. * The problem is, that when people introduce their website url, in the “Website” field, it does not allow them to skip the “[http://”](http://”); or“ [https://”](https://”); at the beginning. * Before posting this question, I tried in 2 different blogs and it was allowed, so it has to be some kind of configuration, whether a plugin or the theme, that is making it mandatory in my blog. * I hope this is clearer now and we get to find the solution.
