# Comment styling help please

 * I have been trying to style my comments on my site for a week with no luck.
 * My understanding is that it has something to do with wp_list_comments. I have
   tried a custom [callback function](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_comments#Comments_Only_With_A_Custom_Comment_Display),
   looking at other themes and tried following many tutorials on the internet with
   no luck.
 * I am not sure where to start or what to ask.
 * I can’t show you my site because I am not working live but I would like to style
   my comments like [this](http://zenhabits.net/2009/08/the-minimalist-principle-omit-needless-things/#comment-80745).
 * Any help would be really appreciated.

 * Try examining your source code and working from that. If you use Firefox, get
   the Firebug add-on. It allows you to examine and change specific CSS on the fly.

 * I do use firebug. The problem is I have never done this before and not sure where
   to start.
 * Could you give me some advice on how I could learn to style the comment section
   of my site.
