# Comment/meta problems

 * It seems to be there instead of the option to leave a comment, but I can’t figure
   out how to fix it.
 * Any thoughts?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Thank you, I did try that. I have very few plugins on this site and all are active.
   I disabled them all and re-enabled them one at a time. That didn’t do it.

 * Well, there is no inactive plugin, so that can’t be causing the problem.
 * And the second step, I’m not sure what will happen if I switch. I don’t want 
   to lose all this guys’ customization…
