 * I’m using 2011 template. Have checked person making comments must give email 
   and also checked hold comments for moderation.
 * There is no box for email in the comment form. And comments are not being held
   for moderation.
 * I have a captcha on the comments box with SI Captcha and Akismet is active.
 * Still, I’ve been down this road before and don’t relish going through 200 spam
   comments. Thank you.
