Use a Custom CSS plugin for any changes, as when the main theme updates, all the changes you may have made to the main theme will be lost.

After installing the plugin, paste this code in it:

	display: none;
}

Your theme has different selectors for sections than standard, which is why a link to your site is always helpful when posting to the Forum, as per WordPress Codex > Forum Welcome > Include as Much Information as Possible.
