# Comments are Closed “Problem”

 * I’ve set up a site ([http://a1dragracing.com.au/jpr-blog/](http://a1dragracing.com.au/jpr-blog/))
   but although the discussion settings and the individual posts allow comments,
   I still have on each post that comments are closed. Am I missing something? Any
   help appreciated.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
