# Comments automatically approved

 * I am trying to support a client who has had some comments automatically approved,
   and neither he nor I know why. There are no users, other than admin.
 * The users are not spammers, and the two comments that we have spotted, are both
   on the same page, and both have had comments approved in the past.
 * I have added a comment myself, with a “new” email address, and this was not automatically
   approved.
 * The site uses Akismet, and I have full access to the raw database.
 * Any suggestions?

   a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment x Comment 
   author must have a previously approved comment
