# comments: customizing error messages

 * Hi all,
    whenever somebody doesn´t fill out all required fields when posting
   a comment an error message appears. That´s good but I don´t like the way. The
   messages come from _die_ statements in wp-comments-post.php. They appear on a
   new white page. Is there a solution to show these errors inside the normal page?

 * I haven´t tried it but maybe one solution is to replace _die_ statements with
   _echo_´s and then build the template around wp-comments-post.php.
    Or create
   javascript location.href with messages as variables.
