Comments drop down not working

    For several weeks now, the drop down menu of comments on my dashboard hasn’t been working. When clicked, an empty box drops down with a timer circle spinning and never loads. In addition, some (approved) comments will show up on my dashboard comment section, but don’t show up on the post they were written on.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thank you, Steve, but why would this happen all of a sudden when nothing was changed? I have a custom theme. There is no way I am going to suddenly change themes and potentially cause all kinds of problems just because of the drop down.
