    The 4 comments link is pointing to the wrong id (#comments instead of #comment-land). Try editing comments.php and changing <div id="comment-land"> to <div id="comments">.

    Tried that. still not working.

    Also wish these forums had an email notification option for new posts.

    Add this link into the template, where that comment link is. Overwrite what is there.

    <?php comments_popup_link(__('No comment'), __('1 comment'), __('% comments')); ?>
