# Comments not allowed on posts?

 * Are comments on posts not allowed? I see them for pages, but not posts. Surely
   this is something simple that I’ve overlooked.

 * Check in the Settings -> Discussion.
 * Also, on your Posts page, at the top, click on “Screen Options” you can select“
   Comments” from there and then below the large text box where you’ve written your
   post, you should be able to select whether you would like people to be able to
   comment or not.
