# Comments on Echo knowledge base articles

 * I need to be able to create notifications when comments are added to a Echo kB
   article. I have added the knowledge base – article post type but the comment 
   setup only provides merge tags for the native WordPress post.

 * Hi, looks like you need our [Conditionals extension](https://bracketspace.com/downloads/notification-conditionals/)
   where you can limit the trigger processing to when:
 * `{post_type} is equal to echo-kb`
 * Of course, the `echo-kb` part needs to be the actual post type slug.
 * With this, only comments submitted to KB article will be covered by that notification.

 * Hi,
    I need to be able to create notifications when a new article (not a comment)
   are added to a Echo KB article. I already have the conditionals extension installed.
