# Comments require login?

 * Hello all,
    Can you help?
 * Once I post articles etc in my blog, at the bottom of the page it says “No Comments”,
   and when clicked, it asks me to log in. I’ve looked where I could either:
    a)
   set up a user database so people could log in and post, or b) disable this so
   that anyone can post
 * Any ideas?

 * In settings->discussion do you have the appropriate setting?
 * unceck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment ” and anyone should
   be able to comment

    This definitely works! ahh life… being a newbie!
 * Your kindguidance opens a can of worms for me though… what if I WANTED to register
   users and have them log in to post? Is that possible? And if so… how?
