# Comments stopped

 * Don’t know version. New so probably the latest.
 * Suddenly for no reason no one can reply to my latest post. I’ve checked old forums
   and I have the correct boxes checked. Anyway, why should it suddenly do it.
 * Have no idea what to do. Options shown in old forums on this from two years ago
   do not help and comments are closed on those, too.
 * HELP please. We are just getting this blog up and running and getting subscribers
   and cannot afford to have our posts suddenly marked ‘comments closed’.
 * Thanks in advance for urgent response.

 * do you remember what you did prior to comments stopped?
 * e.g., did you add any new plugins, theme, modifications, etc.

 * I deactivated everything and it now works, but have no idea which one was causing
   the problem. What is the point in giving us all these widgets if they cause these
   problems. Can’t the software people get it right for a change.
 * It is hard enough doing these things in your sixties without whiz-kid programmers
   messing us up.
