 * Hello there!
   I hope that you’re doing well today! 🙂Recently, I tried to connect
   remotely to my website, using the Updraft Central. And for some reason, I’m not
   able to connect remotely.I have first tried to connect thought my WP dashboard
   and it’s not working. I also tried using a new key, and still doesn’t work.Then,
   I deactivated any security plugin and even the ModSecurity from the server end.
   And still, couldn’t connect at all.I have followed the troubleshoot guide and
   I’m out of options now.Please, help me in finding a way to do this correctly.
   Thank you!

 * Here’s the message I get:
 * “Le Bon Marché – Communications error
 * There was an error in contacting the remote site. You should check that the remote
   site is online, is not firewalled, has remote control enabled, and that no security
   module is blocking the access. Then, check the logs on the remote site and your
   browser’s JavaScript console. If none of that helps, then you should try re-adding
   the site with a fresh key.”

 * Hi,
 * Have you tried ticking the checkbox for the “alternative connection method”?

 * Hi there,
 * I have actually created a new key ticking the checkbox that says “Use the alternative
   method for making a connection with the dashboard”. I pasted the key in the UpdraftCental,
   it opened a new pop-up and it said that it was connected successfully.
   At the
   same time, I still got the same error message. I tried using the mothership connection
   and it worked.It says that is slower. Is this a huge difference compared to the
   direct connection?Thank you!

 * For me there is not a noticeable difference. You will likely only notice the
   difference if you your connection speed is slow.
