# Community Oriented Features?

 * Currently I have the Buddyboss theme with bbpress & buddypress installed. I am
   running a multi-gaming/multi-guild community using wordpress.
 * As a community I have the need for better tiered permissions. New members fill
   out applications when they register using custom Buddypress profile fields. We
   review them and change their role if approved.
 * The problem occurs when I allow my officers permissions to promote people. They
   can promote themselves to administrators if I give them the promote_user capability.
 * I know there are advanced permission plugins out there that you must pay for 
   but it’s difficult to tell if they’ll do exactly what I need without wasting 
   my money.
 * Does anyone know what I should do to achieve this?
