 * Hi,
 * My website was recently hacked because of the Ultimate Member plugin vulnerabilities.
 * I’ve restored my site to a previous backup but my host is telling me I need to
   compare all files and make sure there is not malicious code anywhere that could
   cause the hack again.
 * Going through every WordPress file would take hours and hours.
 * I’m wondering if there is a quick way of doing this? – does anyone know of a
   tool I could use in Terminal or even a GUI app that will compare two folders
   and all sub folders and files and also compare file contents.
 * Thanks
    James

 * Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Everything else WordPress topic.

 * Not good.

 * True.

 * Generally? No. But try this plugin.

 * The author has a great track record for obsessively and compulsively identifying
   bad things in WordPress files and possibly the database. 😉
 * I’ve not used that plugin but I would consider starting with that one.
