This has caused the Google Map on the Contacts page to disappear along with the client testimonials and Post Grid Clock content to disappear. This coincided with the latest release of WordPress 4.5. * In my process of elimination I have restored a backup of my site prior to wordpress 4.5 update and the problem persisted. I then deactivated all plugins on the site finding that if I deactivated WooCommerce all of Visual Composers functionality returned fully. I am now stuck with a website that I cannot use, which my client is not very happy about because of the latest woocommerce update. * I might add that the Trend Theme I am using has woocommerce and Visual editor as part of a combined package and have been working fine, until the latest update * Please can someone come up with a solution to overcome this very frustrating problem. Since it’s a premium theme I cannot test this out for you. I actually purchased the plugin and licence and had my hosting provider TMD Hosting to manually install it for me, at least that way I would have the latest version of Visual Composer. Unfortunately this did not resolve the problem much to my frustration. * I had the VC plugin installed after I had upgraded to WP 4.5 so I am getting the same problem regardless of whether WordPress 4.4.2 or 4.5. I have literally tried all avenues to trace the source of the problem, which has led me to WooCommerce, if I deactivate that all problems resolve on my site. The whole thing is sole destroying having worked literally months on getting the site to where it is today, literally ready for going live. I appreciate what you’re saying but it shouldn’t fall to free plugin developers to support premium sold items. I don’t have access as I mentioned. They appear to have a support area for this theme so please post a ticket there – its not envato, its the theme developer’s support area. * I expect its a script that loads only when WooCommerce is present, which is why it ‘appears’ WooCommerce is breaking the functionality. * You mentioned ‘scrollto’ in another thread – the syntax for that may be wrong. E.g. new jquery version in 4.5 requires quotes in selectors like `selector[something ="something']`. I received a reply to my support request today * _Thank you for being noticing us about eventually issues that our Trend theme may have. We have fixed the WordPress 4.5 version compatibility and updated the new Trend v.1.9.5 Thursday._ * Please download the theme again from themeforest download section and update your theme from your admin. * Best regards! Alice from Modeltheme. * I am both pleased and relieved that my clients website is now fully functioning again, hopefully I will be able to get it live within the next few hours, which should please my client. * However I am not very pleased Modeltheme were aware of the problem but did not think to notify all users that there was an issue and that there was an update available.
