 * Hi Stefan,
 * first of all thank you for taking your time, I really appreciate it!
    With RWP,
   I managed to get srcset-attributes added to images that are added with , but
   I’d like to know if it’s possible to also responsify images otherwise embedded
   into a website. I’m particularly interested in featured images for blog posts
   like the upper image in this post ([http://merlinulrich.com/de/allgemein/test-with-new-sizes/](http://merlinulrich.com/de/allgemein/test-with-new-sizes/))
   or background images used in elements like the ones on this page ([http://merlinulrich.com/de/1_3_imprint_de/](http://merlinulrich.com/de/1_3_imprint_de/)).
   If the images in these elements always force you to download the full sized ones,
   there is really little sense in either making efforts to speed up the page or
   to use the theme I want. I hope, you have some good news for me. THanks a lot!
 * Merlin

 * Hi Merlin!
    Yes, you should be able to make other images responsive by using
   the `rwp_img()` function. But without any code, I really can’t tell you what’s
   special with the upper image and why it’s not responsive.
 * It’s possible to generate css and media queries for an background image, using
   the `rwp_style()` function.

 * For the record: we have solved this issue in other channels.
