 * Hi,
 * We use Timber on quite a few projects – [https://upstatement.com/timber/](https://upstatement.com/timber/)–
   and I have found it difficult to implement the custom search page template instantsearch.
   php with this plugin. Before I try and dig into it I was just wondering if anyone
   else had achieved this or there were any plans to support Timber in future? Basically
   Timber doesn’t use get_header() or get_footer() and when our search results page
   is viewed the site looks a bit broken, with a default WordPress page being loaded
   instead of anything from the theme.
 * Thanks

 * Probably not, at least not at the moment, on offering Timber support by default.
   Not to discount Timber as a solid platform for those who know how to make use
   of it, but it’s definitely not a default thing for most users. So sticking with
   the WordPress theming method would be the best case for us.
 * The question ends up being how to convert/customize the instantsearch.php template
   file to integrate best with Timber. Looking at the to-be-2.0.0 template, it looks
   like the file is about 30 lines of html for the actual display and a sidebar,
   and then the rest are script templates for individual hits on a result, as well
   as instantsearch widgets from Algolia for populating the markup with various
   pieces of data.
 * Mostly a matter of how to nicely output the markup to be populated and the script
   tags to actually do the population.
