 * Hi,
    I’ve used this plugin on a few sites, and love it. But I can’t get it working
   with a site running the Genesis framework. A common problem? I have no other
   plugins running, and plain text widgets work fine, but PHP Code Widget doesn’t
   turn up (no title, no code, no text, nothing). Any other complaints?

 * We’ve been using Genesis framework for a little over a year (2.0.1 currently,
   with WP 3.7.1) and have had no issues with this plugin.

 * This plugin is little more than the default text widget with an eval in it. It
   will work with any theme that the text widget works with.

 * Otto, yes, I can see that– that’s why it’s curious that it isn’t working on my
   site. It’s worked on other sites I run, and the default text widget works fine.
   I still haven’t managed to resolve, but found a workaround (elas, hard-coding
   sidebar.php template), should anyone else run into the same problem, I’d be curious
   to the solution.
