# complex loop setup for front page

 * Hey everyone,
 * I’m trying to setup a kinda complex layout for my front page that I think will
   involve multiple loops but I can’t get my head around how to do it.
 * What I want to be able to do is have the newest post displayed fully with the
   next 5 or so posts displayed as just the post title or perhaps an excerpt. (similar
   to the way diveintomark.org used to be and the way [stopdesign.com](http://stopdesign.com/)
   currently displays summaries on the front page)
 * Don’t suppose anyone has any suggestions/examples that would point me int he 
   right direction? I’ve tried in the codex but haven’t got my head around it yet…
