 * I went to make a different location on my crime map. but I wanted this as a totally
   different map from a different area. I had planned on making multiple maps of
   the same area but filtered. have tabs with pins for that specific location. Example
   1 Tab with all the restaurants in that area. then on a separate tab, only show
   where gas stations are. etc. since this was not too far from my main map, I tried
   to create a new region of this same map area. My problem is that it snaps back
   to my main map location. and will not stay on the new Region. I am wondering,
   Should I make a sub domain. add the map and then Filter the tabs on the new location?
   or is there an easier fix for this that I’m overlooking.

 * Hi [@mogcabul](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mogcabul/) ,
 * Thanks for reaching out!
 * Yes, you can definitely create multiple maps or filtered views as you described.
   Here are a few ways to achieve what you’re aiming for:
    1. **Multiple Maps on Different Pages**
       You can insert the Open User Map block
       or shortcode on multiple pages and configure different filters or categories
       for each one – for example, one page just showing restaurants, another for gas
       stations, etc.
    2. **Use the “Regions” Feature**
       Alternatively, you can use the _Regions_ feature(
       found under **Open User Map > Settings > Regions**) to define different areas.
       These regions appear as tabs above the map, so the user can easily switch between
       cities or city areas. But this doesn’t make sense if you want to provide different
       categories (instead of areas).
    3. **Most Important Setting: Map Focus**
       To prevent the map from always snapping
       back to your main location, make sure to disable the **“Keep map focus in fixed
       position”** option. You’ll find this under **Open User Map > Settings > Map
       Settings > Initial Map View**. Once disabled, the map will stay on the region
       or area you’ve selected.
 * Let me know if you’d like help setting this up or if anything is unclear!
 * Best regards,
   Daniel
