    As far as I currently know, SiteNavigationElement didn’t necessarily apply to breadcrumb trails. There is a separate Breadcrumb element for schema.org but their examples are broken and the major search engines do not follow them.

    Regardless of that, you can add them in yourself, that is why the breadcrumb template settings exist 🙂
