# Compound Relationship attribute

 * Hi,
 * I am in the process of creating a website for a theater. I have plays, and actors,
   custom post types, with custom meta attributes. I want to create a relation between
   plays and actors, and using the Relationship extension looks like a good start.
   But! I need to have them connected with a string attribute, as an Actor plays
   a Role in a Play. Is it possible with the Meta Box plugin family?

 * At the moment, the Relationships plugin doesn’t support extra data for each connection.
 * In order to resolve this, I’d suggest using the [Meta Box Group](https://metabox.io/plugins/meta-box-group/)
   plugin. It can help you build a group for a connection, in that group, you can
   specify which author the play connects to, and which role he has.
 * However, as the Group is not meant for relationship in its nature, it works best
   for one-way relationships.
