  • Hello

This is a request for a plugin suggestion; this is not related to any specific plugin, neither this is a technical issue.

My client has a store with a WooCommerce-based store with a product bundle that applies 20% discount when purchasing any 9 items of certain categories. I’ve already set this discount with a plugin I found and it works based on either a minimum product quantity (applying the discount to every product that qualifies), or multiples of 9 (applying the discount only if the total amount is 9, 18, 27, 36, and so on total).

However, the client needs a third option: when the customer buys, lets say 12 qualifying items, the discount be applied only on 9 of them, and make the remaining 3 have the normal price. When the customer buys 22 qualifying items, the discount is applied to 18 items, the remaining 4 items have the normal price.

So, I need to know if anyone knows of a plugin that does this, since I already tried a bunch of them and none did it. I’m aware of the technical issue here: when the system sees 12 items in the cart, how is it going to choose the 9 items to apply the discount, and how to choose the 3 items with the normal price?

If much, I can tell my client “no can’t do” due to this. But I’m willing to try if there is something I can mess around with.

    Cheers!

While it’s an interesting question, the forums are here for technical support and not as a forum for finding a developer. This is probably best dealt with on jobs.wordpress.net.
