Conditional notifications

    Hello,

    Another couple feature requests:

    – as others have mentioned, sending notifications for new posts/new custom post type posts based on specific categories. This would be huge.

    – building on the above, even more robust conditional logic:

    if in category “x” and title includes “awesome”, etc, etc. This may be a “PRO” feature 🙂 but you can see the possibilities would be endless.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    You’re absolutely right – these will be ‘pro’ features.
    I’ve fleshed out a good roadmap for a number of really awesome and useful extensions for BNFW which are in current development.

    I may also bee looking for beta testers or crowd-funding in return of a discount on extensions moving forward but i’ll probably post a sticky message on this forum if and when I do.

    When I have more, i’ll let you know.

    I have a client interested in the ability for anonymous visitors to subscribe to receive an email when a new post is added to a specific category. Let me know what you think it would take in terms of time and $ to add this functionality to your plugin and perhaps we can help fund it.
