# Configuring Custom Date format.

 * Hey guys. I’m working on a new beta site for a geek blog.
 * I’d like to have a custom date With the LARGE day to the left of a half sized
   month and year. This will be beside the recent posts on the front page in between
   recent posts and the sidebar.
 * The link to what I want to do is: [HERE](http://novelogic.net/date.jpg) (JPG)
 * I have everything on a testing server right now (MAMP) so its all looking good
   except for a few things like this.
 * Can anyone help? This will be my first time doing anything of the sort. (I usually
   just keep it basic.)

 * Great stuff! I’ll use these to start figuring out what I’m doing. Getting really
   frustrated with it right now so it might be a few days. I’ll let you know whats
   going on with it or what I end up with.
