Conflict

Please help me something, a few months ago the company where I work contract with another company in order to make SEO positioning of the website, however this company sent several observations one of the most important is because it should not exist CSS styles inserted in html because it is a SEO penalty, I searched for the solution and in each of the codes added to your plugging allows me to put the option of external file. But when saving changes and running, the css code appears in the html. I do not know what else to do please help.
