Conflict with Elementor Text Editor

    Hi, we have a problem in conjunction with Elementor Pro:
    when opening the “text editor” in Elementor,there appears also a kind of dopdown list with features from WP-Give, that cannot be switched off and obfuscates a part of the text editor. In this way, the text editor cannot be used.
    With the help of the developer tool of the browser, I was able to change the code of the page and was able to see that at that place should normally be a button called “giveWP shortcodes”. That button is unfortunately permanently “pressed”, so it displays all the time the dropdown menu of its own (“donation form” / Login / Register / Give WP totals, etc.). This would not be dramatic, but the problem is that it covers some important parts of the “text editor” menu.
    I have screenshots of the page code and of the page in elementor, with and without the dropdown shown, but there seem to be no option here for image attachments…

    Hi @horiamar ,

    Please excuse the slow turnaround here.

    I haven’t been able to replicate this with the Hello Elementor theme nor the Elementor builder. The GiveWP shortcodes button that you described is also reminiscent of using the Classic Editor plugin. Are you using that plugin as well?

    If you can send along a screen recording of the issue, I can try to replicate it and file a bug report if needed.

    Furthermore, please send along your System Info.

    Navigate to Donations → Tools → System Info (tab) and click the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that in your reply here.

    That will give me some more context to be able to help.

    Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
