 * When a page has been cached as a 404 – Page Not Found it continues to be shown
   as a 404 – Page Not Found even if a redirect has been added.
 * Steps to recreate:
 * 1) Visit a 404 page such as [https://example.com/thispagedoesnotexist](https://example.com/thispagedoesnotexist)
 * 2) Page will be a 404
 * 3) Add a redirect for that page to a page that exists using the Redirection Plugin(
   [https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/](https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/))
 * 4) Visit that page again (as an anonymous user) and it will still 404
 * 5) Purge that page in the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin and the redirection will work
 * How do I make it so LiteSpeed Cache doesn’t cache the redirects added in the
   redirection plugin?

 * Hi [@cvanderlinden](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cvanderlinden/), you
   can put the URI on `LiteSpeed Cache Settings > Exclude Settings > Do Not Cache
   URIs` one by one to prevent cache of that pages.
 * Or you can set no-cache with our API, here are more details: [https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:cache:lscwp:api](https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:cache:lscwp:api)

 * Hi [@cvanderlinden](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cvanderlinden/) ,
 * Thanks for your feedback. I believe this is something we should improve on our
   side. Basically, when you add a redirection to Redirection plugin, we need to
   hook and purge that post to make the redirection work right away.
 * Will give a 3rd party compatibility patch. Thanks.

 * Thanks [@hailite](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hailite/), that would be
   ideal!
