    Hi

First thank you for your lovely and very usful plugin…

During activating the Simple:Press Forum Plugin, I get following error in connection with The-Events-Calendar Plugin:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sp_get_option() (previously declared in C:\xampp\htdocs\de\wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\src\functions\template-tags\deprecated.php:484) in C:\xampp\htdocs\de\wp-content\plugins\simple-press\sp-api\sp-api-primitives.php on line 95

It seems to be an Events-Calendar problem of a deprecated function – or I’m wrong?

    Actual version of The-Events-Calendar: 3.12.6

Thank you very much for your support…

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues here.

It is a deprecated function causing this.

You could remove it from this file and that would fix the issue:

    plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/deprecated.php

    Around line 500.

However, it would have to be removed after each update of our plugin until we remove it for good.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian

Thank you very much for your answer & help. I have inactivated this function and the activation of Simple:Press Forum Plugin was successful.

    Have a great day…
