Conflict with spacious wordpress theme

Hi,

I am using the spacious theme for a website I am working on frost.purple-dog.co.uk
The slider stopped working. When I went through the plugins one by one deactivating them the slider started again when I disabled strong testimonials. But as you can see from the site the slider is important to the client.

I’d love to use the plugin – can you assist?

On a test site, I installed Spacious and Strong, populated the slider and added a testimonials widget to the page. Everything worked.

Please provide a list of your other plugins so I can better re-create your configuration.

I noticed 2 JavaScript errors on your site in Chrome but not Firefox. The errors are related to the copy protection plugin. Maybe try deactivating that first then reactivating Strong.

Hi Chris,

i have done what you have advised and you seem to right ……do you a have any good suggestions for an image protector I can use instead please? As a photographer obviously I need to protect my clients photos from being copied?

First, I recommend contacting that plugin’s developer. There may be simple fixes for those errors.

You’re probably not going to like this next part 🙂

You can make it difficult but you can’t stop it.

Forgive me if you know this. Since my browser fetches the entire page, everything is stored, at least temporarily, on my PC. I can save the entire page as well; content, photos, javascript, CSS. I often do this in troubleshooting live sites.

There is a school of thought that finds disabling right click annoying.

This is fixed in version 1.14.1. The plugin now plays well with any theme or plugin that also uses any version of the jQuery Cycle plugin.
