Conflict with wpforo plugin

    Hi, I’m having a conflict between jetpack and wpforo plugins. In my tests I left activated only these 2 plugins and the problem continued there. The problem appears when I click on logon (“Iniciar Sesion”) or registration (“Registro”) options from the forum page ( https://lamentiraestaahifuera.com/forum/ ).When click, nothing appears, but a form shoud be shown. Any help?

    Hi @lamentira

    I’ve seen you’ve mentioned experiencing a conflict with WPForo and Jetpack; however, conflicts are outside of our support since they involve issues happening with third-party plugins.

    You may want to go to your Jetpack Modules and disable them one by one to troubleshoot which one is causing this; you can then reach out to WPForo support about the form not showing and mention your findings. The modules page can be found below:

    I give up.
    I deactivated all the modules and started activating and testing one per one.
    Everything was working well. I suspected from contact form, because is something related to what should appear in the login page (a form).
    I left contact form to the end, and when activated it, the forum worked well, but the contact form didn’t. I edited the page with the shortcodes for the contact form, and then it worked, but the forum didn’t.

    Well, I will deactivate the contact form and the forum should work again. Wrong. It didnt work.

    This is something cruel. I give up.

    It’s sad to hear that this troubleshooting didn’t help.

    Hi MadHatter,

    I have found the incompatibility. The problem is related to the modules “Social”, “Sharing” and “contact form” (at least I think so).

    With these modules disabled, it works (the login and registration links, I mean). But, if I need to activate “Sharing” for posting automatically an article at all the social networks, Jetpack ask me to connect my account, and then the forum stops working, even if I deactivate the “Sharing” module again.

    This is something annoying. I have open a request at jetpack support forum too. I can live with this inconvenient, and post manually my articles at facebook and twitter, and I have installed other plugins for sharing and contact form functionalities, but I think it should be fixed.

    Please update to wpForo 2.0.7 version. We have made some changes to avoid such conflicts.
