I’m using English and French in my site, French is Default language. Whenever I update default language’s content,that affects its translations too.

With Polylang we have to make sure that Custom Field Synchronisation is disabled. You can see this being discussed here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/page-builder-and-polylang-plugin/ with a screenshot.
We haven’t tested with WP Multilang before but you could check its settings for a similar widget or custom field synchronisation option.
