# Confusing Values

 * I have tested this on WP Local. I always get ‘3 more attempts’ as a message on
   the login page when I fail login and tried 12 times (as log recorded). I set 
   the parameters as 4 retires, 10min lockout, 2 attempts increase to 0.02hours.
   I see the text at the end of the lockout settings as:
 * _After a specific IP address fails to log in **4** times, a lockout lasting **
   10** minutes is activated. If additional failed attempts occur within **0.00027777777777778**
   hours and lead to another lockout, once their combined total hits **2**, the **
   10**minutes duration is extended to **0.00027777777777778** hours. The lockout
   will be lifted once **0.00027777777777778** hours have passed since the last 
   lockout incident._
 * I am not sure what’s going on here so, as I want to test this before using it
   on my live site, would appreciate feedback on how to test with minimum delays
   for retries. Have I made the settings invalid? PS. I tried the right passwords
   after 4 times and did not get past login so that may be working. Thanks.

 * The plugin only accepts integer numbers for its settings, 0.02 might not work
   as intended.
