The 1 credit allowance sounds like a sandbox or test account allowance. * Occasionally, after sign-up, ScraperAPI requires email verification or clicking“ Activate Free Plan” before it transitions you off the 1-credit-trial. * Go to Dashboard → **Plan & Usage** and ensure it explicitly says “Free Plan: 1 000 credits/month” (not “Trial Plan: 1 credit/day”). If it still shows “Trial,” click the “Upgrade/Activate” button next to “Free Plan” (you won’t be asked for payment). * Hopefully this fixes your issue. Is there maybe a setting we need to update in the plugin? Could you confirm if you are on a paid or a free account currently? * I would suggest checking the API key, and ensuring this is the one entered in your API key entry field on the plugin settings. Also check there are no spaces or other characters perhaps pasted into the field in error. * Then be sure to re-save the settings, and run again to see if it overcomes the credit limitation issue. * Let me know how it goes.
