 * Hi,
    I’ve been using WordPress trouble free for about 4 years now and it been
   great however I have encountered an issue.
 * Around Wednesday this week I got a lot of spam on the comments of some posts.
   As I use Akismet to manage spam I logged into my dashboard to see what was going
   on but Akismet complained about firewall settings and it couldnt connect. I also
   noticed that jetpack also flagged an error up saying “register_http_request_failed”.
   As well as these two problems I also noticed on the main dashboard page that 
   there were a couple if RSS errors and can no longer search for plugins via the
   dashboard.
 * I’m very inexperienced when it comes to website issues and I am completely out
   of ideas.
    I’ve tried disabling/removing plugins and repairing the database but
   neither has made any difference.
 * Hope someone can help me

 * are you using godaddy’s wordpress hosting? if yes, go and request for support
   from them

 * Ah sorry, I should have stated. My site is hosted by servage.net.
    I’ve been 
   in touch with servage but they say it’s not a problem on their side and to contact
   WordPress support. They did state however that if I need any server settings 
   changed then to contact them.
