 * when testing the connection i get a message
    “The extension imap.so could not
   be loaded, please change your PHP configuration to enable it or use the pop3 
   method without imap extension” it is setup to use POP3 but still tries imap unless
   i am missing something
 * This is not a shared server and the host is very willing to make changes if i
   know what they are..

   PHP extension for this plugin.

 * I finally found where to get the apache error log, hope this helps.

 * If `imap_timeout()` is undefined than php `imap` extension is not installed in
   your server. `IMAP` extension is must to run this plugin.
