# Connection timeout

 * Hi there,
 * I’ve recently started experience issues when sending emails, so far the issues
   I’ve encountered include a short connection timeout error which I will paste 
   here: “The email could not be sent: Connection to tcp://thetransferlist.co.uk:
   465 Timed Out” and an error log which I will paste at the bottom of this page.
 * I initially thought this my relate to a cURL timeout error that I’d previously
   had but my hosting provider has increased the cURL timeout and I’m still having
   the same issue. I was wondering if you could advise me how I can rectify this
   please?
 * Also, to note, I am using the exact same mailing settings for other email clients
   and have no issues with those, it only occurs using MailPoet.
