# Console Jquery errors after Theme and Plugin upgradation

 * I have a wordpress site which had wp version 4.9.18. The theme used here is a
   custom theme that uses Jquery [ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4 ] and [ jquery-migrate.min.
   js?ver=1.4.1 ].
    After I updated the wordpress version to 5.8.2, I got some issues
   with Theme customize section (it was displayed as blank). I reverted to version
   5.6.6 and that particular customizer theme issue was resolved.
 * Now, when I updated all the required plugins I could see some Javascript errors
   showing up in the browser console related to Jquery function as below ::
 *     ```

 * Is there anything related to Jquery compatibility between the core updated wordpress
   and plugins.

 * Second, If this was a custom theme, you may have to go back to your developer
   team and ask them to make the necessary change(s) to the theme. **Commercial
