# Constant Error Message

 * One of my clients keeps getting this message. We’ve tried all the usual protocols(
   disabling plugins one at a time, updates, etc.) with no resolution. Her “developer”
   doesn’t want to assist. Any thoughts?

   some code to `.htaccess` file as explained in this [old thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/refused-to-execute-script-because-its-mime-type-is-not-executable-2/)(
   scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the suggested solution).
 * Also, it would be good if you could have your webhost look into file permission
   or ownership issues.
