# Constantly backing up database

 * Hi, up until now this plugin has worked reliably for me on several websites. 
   However this morning on one of them it started to constantly back-up the database.
   I have set it up so it emails me the database backup. It is scheduled to backup
   at 10:35 am everyday, but since that time this morning it has done a backup almost
   every minute. I updated all the plugins and WordPress as well but that hasn’t
   solved the issue.

 * Check if your options are set correctly and you did not choose the minute dropdown.
 * If the settings is correct, then my guess is your WordPress cron might be corrupted
   or some plugin you are using are messing with the cron. You can use wp-crontrol
   plugin to check.

 * Thanks Lester for your quick answer. The set up was correct, a backup every day.
   I installed the wp-crontrol plugin that you suggested and saw nothing out of 
   the ordinary there. The backups have stopped about a couple of hours ago, I’ll
   keep monitoring the situation and let you know if anything comes up.
