Have you tried deleting the Jetpack plugin folder via FTP?

I discoverd that everything is fine if i have the new Contact Form 7 + Jetpack.. And use WordPress 3.3. When i update to the new 3.4 everything fuckup.. even when Jetpack not are on the server..

I conclude than WordPress 3.4 is made for the new Jetpack, and ther connection make it impossible to use Contact Form 7

@mikeotgaar, thanks for your suggestion. It didn’t work. 🙁

@19hansen86, ok… tht clue might give us some idea where to look now. Thanks!

If I find something new I’ll post back!

I’ll check that link right now! Thanks! 🙂

    It worked! 🙂

In my case, in my demo site, the solution suggested by metamezzo worked in a second. All I had to do was activate the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin (I had it installed for some other reason) and the mails got going again.

I’ll see if this very same solution works on the real site (which I don’t have access to) and get back here. The demo site and the real site are on different Hosting companies.

    Thanks metamezzo for your help!

I just installed the plugin WP-Mail-SMTP, never even looked at the settings, just installed and activated, and it fixed my contactForm7.

***I’d like to not have another plugin to manage. This seems like a temporary fix.***

Why does the update to 3.4 break contactForm7. How can I fix without the plugin?

    Any ideas out there?

    Thanks!

@davidgrishaver I’m also taking this as a temporary fix but I was unable to get the Contact Form 7 plugin working again with anything else. :/

I’m marking this thread as “Resolved”. I’ve just heard that this solution worked on the real site as well.

But I’ll be alert if a real solution comes and I will post it here.

Thank you everyone who contributed! Cheers!

Deleted Jetpack and WP-Mail-SMTP through FTP. Reinstalled WP-Mail-SMTP. Didn’t touch the default settings. Forms still aren’t working. 🙁
