# [contact_form] shortcode does not work

 * Using Mantra 2.0. Trying to add a front page contact form or link to text of 
   second title and footer.
 * Contact form by BestWebSoft is installed and activated.Settings have been set.
 * My understanding is that typing [contact_form] into text creates the link. It
   does not work. Also tried [contact-form] and [contact form].
 * What am I doing wrong?

 * Hello jlmiser,
 * Please check the template, and make sure that the content of your
    pages is displayed
   through ‘the_content()’ or ‘the_excerpt()’ – in this case WordPress functionality
   will work with the shortcodes correctly. If there is no such function, the shortcode
   is displayed as a text, and it is not handled by WP.
