Content Disappears

Content in live composer disappear when plugin is deactivated?
I deactivated LC and I realized content be it text or images just disappears into nothing.

I wish it reverted gracefully into the WordPress default editor but I found nothing in there. I am wondering if this is trade off for LC’s native WordPress field integration which I love so much.

Is there a way to retrieve content when LC is deactivated or is it to better use custom fields to load your content into LC?
