 * I would like to change the content width. In the theme functions.php file it
   is set to $content_width = 648;
 * How can I change it to 785 without editing direcly the function.php file?
 * Is there a way to change it with a plugin or a php-snippet?

 * Create a subsidiary theme for the current theme.This allows you to make changes
   without modifying the original theme files.
